About Us

A statue of a dog outside the Elks Lodge entrance.

Fort Worth Elks Lodge #124 has been holding court on White Settlement Road for generations, and on any given Friday night you'll understand exactly why. The smell of burgers sizzling on the flat-top hits you at the door, the jukebox or live band is already going, and somebody's waving you over to join their table before you've even found a seat.

This isn't a stuffy civic club. It's a real neighborhood institution where a 4.7-star rating across 72 reviews isn't built on marketing, it's built on clean facilities, a kitchen that delivers, and staff who remember your name. Members and guests consistently call out the onion rings by name, which tells you something about how seriously the kitchen takes its job.

The lodge operates under the national Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks banner, meaning every dollar that comes through the door supports veterans, youth programs, and community causes across Fort Worth and beyond. The $10 guest donation some visitors mention? It goes exactly where you'd hope it would.

What We Offer

Friday nights at Lodge #124 are the anchor of the week. The kitchen fires up burgers and onion rings that have earned their own fan base, the bar is stocked and reasonably priced, and live music rounds out an evening that's genuinely hard to replicate at a commercial bar for the same money.

Beyond the weekly social nights, the lodge hosts member events, private gatherings, and community fundraisers throughout the year. The main hall is available for events, the restrooms and common areas are kept clean (members mention this specifically and often), and the staff runs a tight ship without being uptight about it. Parking can get cozy on busy nights, so arriving early on Fridays is a smart move.

Membership in the BPOE opens the door to reciprocal privileges at Elks lodges across the country, a genuine fraternal network, and the satisfaction of contributing to one of America's longest-running charitable brotherhoods. Prospective members can inquire directly at the lodge or through the national site.

"This place is not friendly! Dinner started at 6:00 , we got there at 5:45 they would not let us inn! Had to walk back to the car because it's 100 degrees outside, I was trying to video the band where the sofa area is, she told me, I am not a member cannot be in that area ! With this attitude, who wants to be a Member! NEVER.........."
